Marieke is a Dutch fashion/ lifestyle photographer, born and raised on the French Caribbean island of Martinique.
She have been immersed in the exotic, tropical island lifestyle for most of her life, and she loves everything about the array of stunning beaches, balmy tropical nights, fresh ocean breezes, distinctive flavours, culture, art and the easy-going island life.
She believes in spiritual principles, the power of the intuition and the restorative qualities of meditation.
With a background in fashion & visual merchandising, she finds in the art of photography a way to express herself creatively, which aligns truly with who she is.
Now 5 years onto her photography journey, Marieke is creative directing campaigns for international fashion labels. You can find Marieke behind her 35mm lenses capturing film in some of the most beautiful locations on the island of Bali and beyond.
